We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and dependable Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dental professionals in providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Assist dentists and dental professionals during examinations, procedures, and treatments. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment areas. Prepare patients for dental procedures and provide appropriate assistance throughout treatment. Take and develop dental X-rays as permitted by applicable regulations and credentials. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation. Perform chairside assisting and provide appropriate support during dental procedures. Prepare dental materials, instruments, and equipment for procedures. Follow infection-control, sterilization, and workplace safety procedures. Provide patients with basic instructions regarding oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked treatment areas. Monitor and maintain dental equipment and supplies. Communicate professionally and courteously with patients, dentists, and other healthcare staff. Follow all applicable healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential/license as required by the state. Previous dental assisting experience preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, procedures, and infection-control practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Pay:
$24.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week
