Orthodontic Dental Assistant Braces of Burleson | Burleson, TX Love creating confident smiles? Join our amazing orthodontic team! Braces of Burleson is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and team-oriented Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Enjoy every other Friday OFF!
What You'll Do:
Assist the orthodontist during patient treatment. Prepare patients for orthodontic procedures and provide excellent chairside care. Take digital X-rays and orthodontic records (when certified). Change archwires, ligatures, and other orthodontic appliances as permitted by Florida/Texas regulations (adjust for your state requirements). Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic appliance care. Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment rooms. Ensure accurate patient documentation. Deliver an outstanding patient experience from start to finish. Travel between nearby office locations as needed.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent. Dental Assistant experience required; orthodontic experience is preferred. Current Dental Assistant credentials as required by the State of Texas. X-ray certification preferred. CPR certification preferred. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between office locations.
