Job Description

Great pediatric practice looking for dynamic dental assistant to join our team 5 days a week. The ideal candidate for this position must have at least 2 years of dental experiences, reliable, self- starting individual who takes pride in their work. Candidate must also be a team player with the ability to multitask, work in a fast pace office and be willing to help the front office when needed. Duties requirements (but not limited to):
  • Experienced with assisting chairside with dental treatments
  • Taking Digital X-rays
  • Charting Familiar with oral conscious sedation and IV sedation
  • Setting up and breaking down treatment room
  • Setting and cleaning instruments
  • Infection control
  • Stock treatment rooms with supplies
  • Conducts work in compliance with Office policies, OSHA, MSDS and HIPPA
  • Records medical and dental histories, vital signs and enters treatment information in patients chart
  • Provides postoperative instructions recommended by the doctor
  • Current RDA Certification and Nitrous Certification.
