Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dental team. Applicants must have a current RDA license. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care by providing chairside assistance and ensuring smooth daily operations within our dental practice. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental experience. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures & ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following infection prevention management. Taking dental x-rays, including digital imaging and 3D scans, adhering to dental x-ray safety standards. Manage patient records using dental software systems such as Curve Dental, Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accurate documentation of dental & medical history, vital signs, and treatment plans. Provide patient support by explaining procedures & answering questions. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by following infection control protocols and dental sterilization procedures. Support the dental team when needed to help the office run smoothly. Requirements Valid license or certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) . Proven experience working in a dental setting with knowledge of general dentistry procedures. Proficiency with dental software systems such as Curve Dental, Dentrix or Eaglesoft for managing dental records and patient information. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and clinical procedures related to all dental procedures. Experience with dental instrument processing, sterilization & setting up for all dental procedures. Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other diagnostic tools safely and effectively. Excellent communication skills to provide outstanding patient care while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies. Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention and control standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
