Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including preparing treatment rooms and passing instruments. Take and develop dental x-rays with proper safety precautions. Perform sterilization procedures on dental instruments and equipment to maintain infection prevention standards. Prepare and organize dental materials and supplies for patient treatments. Provide compassionate patient care, including patient education and comfort during visits. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to treatments performed. Ensure all dental equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions or repairs needed. Follow healthcare infection prevention and control protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care instructions and post-treatment care. Requirements Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is required. Proficiency in dental x-ray techniques and safety protocols. Knowledge of dental sterilization procedures and infection control standards. Familiarity with common dental terminology, equipment, and tools. Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
