Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. We have 3 locations that you would be required to travel between if necessary. This position could either be part-time or full time depending on your preference. Benefits would be different with part time vs. full time. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, including sterilization of instruments and equipment. Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Record and update medical documentation accurately, including patient histories and treatment plans. Monitor vital signs of patients before, during, and after procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage patient flow within the clinic. Skills Proficient in taking vital signs and assisting during dental procedures. Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Understanding of pediatric dentistry for working with younger patients. Competence in performing X-ray imaging safely and effectively. Ability to thrive in a busy dental clinic environment while maintaining professionalism.

Office hours are:

Monday-Thursday 7:45am -5pm and Friday from 7:45-12pm.

Pay:

$17.00 - $24.00 per hour
