Job Description
Overview We are expanding and our team is searching for two fulltime Registered Dental Assistants. Minimum four days per week position in Helotes. Experience is necessary, must be friendly, outgoing, and willing to be a part of a team setting. We see patients of all ages and diversities. Our office is fully digital, using Dentrix and Dexis imaging. Experience with Dentrix is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. Uphold infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in all procedures. Skills Proficient in using Dentrix, and Dexis for managing patient records. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and various specialties such as pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry. Strong understanding of infection control practices and techniques to ensure patient safety. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
