Registered Dental Assistant

Lakewood Hills Dental is a private practice serving the local communities in all aspects of dentistry. We are seeking to interview additional Experienced Dental Assistant for the office. You will play a crucial role in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring the best patient care. Payrate will depend upon dental skills, dental experiences and work schedule.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist dentists during examinations and treatment procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records by documenting information accurately in dental records.
• Provide chair-side assistance to dentists during dental procedures.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
• Sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
• Manage inventory and supplies within the dental office.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow.

Experience:

• Proven experience working with dental imaging techniques, including X-rays.
• Proficiency in dental terminology and documentation.
• Familiarity with dentistry practices is a plus.
• Knowledge of general dentistry procedures and systems.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
