Job Description

Plum Creek Dental is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Dental Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to grow their existing experience in dental assisting, and other clinical and operational advancements.

Responsibilities :

Provide chair-side assistance to Providers. Work alongside team members in all departments. Take, develop, and mount x-rays. Take impressions of dentures for dental appliances. Perform procedures to compile with infection control policies and prepare operatories for patient treatment. Accurately and completely report and document status, care rendered, response to care, provider orders, contacts with patient and/or other healthcare providers. Maintain patient follow up procedures. Support the front office staff when needed. Provide support to patients and staff, including scheduling appointments, and answering phones. Help schedule patient appointments and coordinate with providers. Prepare treatment plans and financial estimates for patients. Maintain patient records and files. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

3+ years experience in dental assisting (open to less experience for the right candidate) Excellent customer service and communication skills Requisite skills and ability to perform certain dental tasks as assigned. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to utilize computers for data entry and information retrieval. Strong clinical, organizational, and time management skills Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite

•English/Spanish speaking preferred.

•Front office experience a major plus!
