Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical assisting, patient care, and dental procedures, with a focus on maintaining clinical excellence and fostering positive patient experiences. As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will support dentists in delivering efficient, safe, and compassionate dental care while adhering to all regulatory standards. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring adherence to infection prevention management protocols. Take dental x-rays and medical imaging while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality. Manage patient records using Denticon to ensure accuracy and confidentiality. Provide chairside assistance by managing dental instruments, materials, and supplies efficiently during procedures. Monitor vital signs and assist in patient management to ensure comfort and safety throughout appointments. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by following infection control procedures and aseptic techniques aligned with healthcare infection prevention standards. Support the dental reception team by managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out processes, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience in dental assisting within general dentistry or specialty areas Proficiency with EMR systems for medical documentation and records management. Knowledge of dental terminology, dental equipment operation, and sterilization procedures. Familiarity with dental radiography techniques including X-ray safety protocols and 3D scanner operation is highly desirable. Strong understanding of infection control practices aligned with healthcare standards and clinical confidentiality policies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care and collaborate effectively within a team environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical setting.
