Duties Prepare treatment rooms with dental instruments and materials, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use according to infection prevention management protocols Assist dentists during a variety of procedures such as oral surgery, endodontics with precision and care Take and develop dental x-rays, including 3D scans, while maintaining strict adherence to dental sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and dental terminology to foster understanding and compliance Uphold clinical confidentiality policies in accordance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and chairside assisting for various specialties such as oral surgery and endodontics, Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, dental equipment operation, and infection control standards Experience with dental x-ray procedures, including digital imaging and 3D scanner technology Familiarity with Open Dental for efficient patient data management Ability to perform dental instrument processing and sterilization following strict infection prevention protocols Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the dental team and provide outstanding patient care Bilingual in Spanish and English required Healthcare infection prevention and control expertise combined with knowledge of clinical confidentiality policies Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a difference every day!
