Responsibilities Complete Indigo Dental Staffing's dental assistant training program and prepare for DANB or state-specific certification exams Support dentists chairside with procedures, instrumentation, and four-handed dentistry in assigned practices Perform basic radiography, impressions, sterilization, operatory setup/breakdown, and infection control per OSHA standards Document treatment, update patient records, and verify patient information accurately in practice systems Provide friendly patient communication, pre/post-op instructions, and comfort support during visits Flexibly accept temporary and temp-to-perm assignments at partnering dental practices across the region Follow clinical protocols, privacy regulations, and safety procedures in all practice settings Collaborate with Indigo recruiters and practice managers to ensure smooth onboarding and performance in each role Required Skills Chairside dental assisting Dental radiography (x-rays) Four-handed dentistry Infection control and sterilization Dental impressions and model handling Dental terminology and charting Electronic dental record documentation Patient communication and education OSHA and HIPAA compliance Time management in clinical settings
