Should have at 1 yr experience, should have experience with implants, root canals and extractions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Prepare and maintain dental materials and supplies
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
• Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring models and trimming plaster casts
• Provide support to front office staff as neededRequirement
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
• X-ray certification required
• Knowledge of Open dental and other dental practice management system
• Familiarity with medical records, HIPAA regulations, and infection control protocols
• Experience working with scanning technology is a plus
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Proficiency in taking vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
