Dental Assisting Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our fun Pediatric Office. The ideal candidate will love working with children and be a team player. Speaks Spanish a plus
Duties:
  • Prepare patients for dental work
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
  • Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
  • Take dental x-rays
  • Make impressions of patients' teeth
  • Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
Qualifications:
  • Speak Spanish
  • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
  • X-ray certification preferred
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements
  • Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices
