Dental Assisting Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our fun Pediatric Office. The ideal candidate will love working with children and be a team player. Speaks Spanish a plus

Duties:

Prepare patients for dental work
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
Take dental x-rays
Make impressions of patients' teeth
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies

Qualifications:

Speak Spanish
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
X-ray certification preferred
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices
Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate assistance This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic dental practice, gain valuable experience, and contribute to the oral health of our community.
