Your primary role will be to support the dentist and hygienist during procedures, ensuring the clinic runs smoothly. We are looking for someone to takes pride in their work. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a patient-centered setting dedicated to oral health excellence. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all dental materials are ready for procedures Assist dentists chairside during various treatments Take dental X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed Manage patient records, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions in a friendly, professional manner Support infection control procedures and sterilization standards Help with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and filling in as a dental receptionist when needed. We love having a team approach. Skills Being awesome! Also proficiency with dental software such as open dental Critical Thinker! Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry Skilled with dental imaging techniques such as X-ray and 3D scanner technology Team player assisting with four-handed dentistry to optimize efficiency and comfort during procedures Familiarity with infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and sterilization processes to ensure patient safety Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards for protecting patient privacy and handling sensitive medical information This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about delivering high-quality dental care.
