In this role, you will work closely with our doctors and clinical team to provide top-quality care, keep procedures running smoothly, and ensure our patients feel comfortable and well-cared for from the moment they sit in the chair. Key Responsibilities Patient Care:
Prepare patients for treatments, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.
Chairside Assisting:
Assist the doctor during clinical procedures, maintaining proper suction, passing instruments, and retracting tissue.
Instrument & Operatory Prep:
Sterilize and disinfect instruments, clean and stock operatory rooms, and set up procedure trays according to OSHA and office standards.
Radiography:
Take high-quality digital X-rays and 3D scans (CBCT) as requested by the doctor.
Clinical Documentation:
Accurately update patient charts, clinical notes, and treatment details in our practice management software.
Lab Work & Impression:
Take impressions, pour/trim models, and prepare lab cases for shipment/tracking.
Post-Op Instructions:
Provide clear post-procedure care instructions to patients and answer clinical questions within your scope.
Qualifications & Skills Certification:
Dental Assistant Certification (DANB or state-approved) preferred.
X-Ray Certification:
Current State Radiology Certification / License required.
Experience:
1+ years of chairside dental assisting experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate) .
Skills:
Strong communication, attention to detail, and a welcoming, professional demeanor. Experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix) is a plus.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
