Job Description

Job Summary Experienced Dental Assistant - Full Time Join Our Dental Team! Bishop Family Dental is looking for an experienced, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team full time. We are a busy, modern dental office providing a wide variety of general and advanced dental procedures. We are looking for someone who is confident with chairside assisting, understands four-handed dentistry, works well with a team, and takes pride in providing excellent patient care.

Full Time Experience:
Previous dental assisting experience required What You'll Do Provide four-handed chairside assistance for a variety of dental procedures Assist with fillings, crowns, extractions, implants, dentures, root canals, oral surgery, Invisalign, veneers, and other procedures Take digital X-rays and assist with diagnostic records Prepare operatories and maintain proper sterilization and infection-control procedures Perform digital scans, impressions, and other clinical procedures Assist with
CEREC, CAD/CAM, 3D
imaging/CBCT, and digital scanning Assist with Invisalign and Zoom Whitening Track and coordinate dental laboratory cases Maintain clinical inventory and order supplies Complete accurate clinical notes and procedure documentation Help maintain an efficient patient schedule and smooth office flow Participate in daily team huddles Provide professional patient handoffs to the front office team Keep patients comfortable and provide a positive experience Anticipate the doctor's needs and stay one step ahead during procedures
What We're Looking For Required:
Previous dental assisting experience Experience with four-handed dentistry Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures Experience taking digital dental X-rays Knowledge of sterilization and infection-control procedures Strong attention to detail Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy office Dependable, punctual, and professional Positive attitude and strong work ethic Team player who is willing to help wherever needed Comfortable working with children and adults Ability to accept feedback and learn new systems and technology Bonus if you have experience with:
