Dental Assistant
Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at our Saratoga Springs and Sandy locations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring a smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Duties Assist the dentist during Endodontic procedures and general procedures . Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment. Take and record vital signs as needed. Manage medical records accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient confidentiality. Operate dental equipment including 3D scanners and other systems as required. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow through TDO or similar software. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, particularly in endodontics or general dentistry. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and the ability to apply them in practice. Proficient in using dental systems, including TDO software and 3D scanning technology. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients of all ages. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude. Certification or training in dental assisting is a plus.
