The Role We are looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant who is as passionate about clinical excellence and patient experience as we are. You will work directly with Dr. Smaiyra Chaudhary in a carefully designed clinical environment, equipped with premium amenities and technology. This is not a role for someone looking to clock in and clock out. We are looking for a team player who brings clinical precision, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to the patient experience to everything they do. You will be instrumental in creating the clinical and experiential excellence that defines Atelier Opal. You may also support administrative duties as needed during our startup phase. What You Will Do Assist in all clinical procedures with precision and attention to detail Manage instrument sterilization, preparation, and organization with meticulous care Prepare and maintain treatment rooms to the Atelier Opal standard—pristine, organized, and guest-ready at all times Support patient comfort and confidence throughout treatment, from seating to post-care guidance Capture and process digital radiographs, digital scans, and CBCT imaging in compliance with Virginia state regulations Contribute to the daily morning huddle and end-of-day procedures Maintain accurate and HIPAA-compliant patient records in our practice management software (Curve EHR — training provided) Support administrative duties as needed during our startup phase Grow with the practice, take on increasing responsibility as Atelier Opal expands Additional responsibilities will be explained during interview
- What We Are Looking For Current RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) certification from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) Current CPR/BLS certification (Healthcare Provider level) X-ray certification for Virginia, evidenced by ONE of the following: DANB Radiation Health & Safety (RHS) certification, OR ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, OR Completion of a radiation safety course and exam from a CODA-accredited institution Minimum 5+ years of chairside dental assisting experience Exceptional clinical skills, infection control protocol adherence, and sterilization best practices A professional, polished demeanor and genuine passion for patient care Comfort with ambiguity and change, this is a startup, and adaptability is essential A team-first mentality; no task is beneath you and no challenge is too big Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and pride in your clinical work What We Offer $28.
