Some of the job responsibilities are: Greet all patients with a smile and warm welcome when calling them from waiting room. Taking vitals and 2d x-rays, 3d scans accurately for doctor. Assisting the doctor during the patient appointment and listening in to update patient record during the appointment as necessary. Engaging with the patient if the doctor is delayed coming into the room. Following all OSHA procedures for sterilization, cleaning. Ensure the treatment rooms are adequately stocked. Help keep the office clean and well organized. Providing any additional assistance and support in daily operations. Inform patients of dental post-operative procedures and care.Minimum Requirements:
Virginia X-ray Certification (Required) 3 years of demonstrated experience as a dental assistant Experience in Endodontic offices is a plus Ability to handle highly sensitive confidential patient information and maintain HIPPA compliance when disposing of patient information Knowledge of dental anatomy and teeth numbers Professionalism in interactions with patients and coworkersShift Requirement:
Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Fridays from 8:00 am-3:00 pm.Transportation:
Our office is reachable by metro or car. We do pay for parking passes for our staff. Pay will be determined based on experience.Resume Requirement:
