The ideal candidate will support our dental team in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols. Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards. Utilize 3D scanners for capturing precise dental impressions. Monitor and record vital signs of patients before, during, and after procedures. Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including medical coding when necessary. Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and office inventory as required. Experience Must have experience working as a dental assistant. Previous experience in a dental clinic is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with Eaglesoft is a plus for managing patient records efficiently. Knowledge of infection control standards and practices is essential for maintaining a safe environment. Experience with assisting in various dental procedures will be beneficial for this role.
