West End Teeth is a well- established private practice searching for a dependable dental assistant who possesses strong leadership skills, a solid background in dental assisting, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. This is a Lead Dental Assistant job, designed for a tenured-position with learning and growth opportunity, which has been proven over decades. Dr. Tabor is a patient and thorough educator, willing to train the right candidate. Dental assistant school grads welcome to apply! Duties Supervise the clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to protocols. Assist Doctor during procedures, providing chairside support and ensuring patient comfort. Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix, ensuring all documentation is completed timely. Implement and uphold infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with team members to improve workflow efficiency within the clinic. Conduct training sessions for new staff on clinical procedures, systems, and best practices. Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. Address any patient concerns or inquiries regarding treatment plans or procedures. Requirements 1+ years experience in dental assisting. Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix is essential; experience with iTero is a plus. Knowledge of general dentistry practices. Strong understanding of infection control measures within a clinical setting. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting. A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on industry standards. Schedule Mon/Wed 8-5pm, Tues/Thrs 7.30-5.30pm
