Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the dental clinic. This position requires a blend of clinical skills, patient interaction, and administrative support to facilitate an optimal patient experience. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and materials. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, ensuring proper sterilization and aseptic techniques. Manage patient records, including medical documentation and medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist. Educate patients on oral hygiene, postoperative care, and treatment plans. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic environment. Utilize advanced technology such as 3D scanners for imaging when required. Requirements Previous experience in dental assisting or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of general dentistry practices and anatomy is essential. Familiarity with medical records management and medical documentation processes. Proficiency in aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Willingness to learn new technologies and methods within the dental field.
