We are looking for a chair side clinical assistant who enjoys the dynamic atmosphere of an orthodontic office. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person. Benefits include medical and 401(k). Office hours Monday

Experience:
Dental Assistants:
1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the orthodontist in all aspects of patient care and treatment
  • Take and develop dental x-rays and medical imaging as directed by the orthodontist
  • Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient procedures
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
  • Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record system (Epic or similar)
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating orthodontic appliances
  • Collaborate with the orthodontist to develop treatment plans for patients
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Familiarity with dental office management systems (Eaglesoft or similar)
Requirements:
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with patients of all ages
  • Familiarity with computer systems and ability to learn new software quickly
