Assist dentists during various procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing chairside support with precision and efficiency. Take and develop dental x-rays using advanced medical imaging technology such as digital dental x-ray systems and 3D scanners. Manage patient records accurately within electronic medical records (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar software, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. Perform dental instrument processing, sterilization procedures, and maintain dental equipment to uphold the highest standards of infection control. Collect vital signs and medical documentation when necessary to support comprehensive patient care. Support front desk operations by assisting with patient management software, scheduling appointments, and handling general dental receptionist duties. Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures. Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and clinical confidentiality policies. Proficiency in using EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for managing patient records. Hands-on experience with dental x-ray techniques, oral surgery assistance, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable. Knowledge of dental sterilization procedures, infection prevention management, and aseptic technique is essential. Ability to perform dental instrument processing efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to infection control standards. Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry and the ability to support four-handed dentistry practices.
