Benevis Dental is seeking a Coronal Polishing Dental Assistant to support our affiliated practices in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. In this role, you will perform coronal polishing, assist dentists during procedures, prepare and maintain treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure accurate documentation. You'll educate patients on oral hygiene, support front-office flow as needed, and collaborate with a caring, multidisciplinary team focused on continuous improvement, professional growth, and expanding access to dental care in the communities we serve. Responsibilities Perform coronal polishing in accordance with state regulations and clinical protocols Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a variety of dental procedures Prepare, set up, and turn over operatories and equipment for patient visits Sterilize and maintain instruments and adhere to strict infection control standards Accurately chart findings and update electronic dental records Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Support patient flow, scheduling, and basic front-office tasks as needed Collaborate with clinical team members to improve processes and patient experience Monitor and manage dental supplies and inventory for assigned operatories Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives Required Skills Coronal polishing Chairside dental assisting Dental radiography Infection control and sterilization Dental charting and documentation Four-handed dentistry Patient education and communication Dental instruments and materials handling Electronic dental records (EDR) Basic front office support/scheduling
