Duties:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
• Take dental x-rays
• Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Assist with dental lab work, including pouring and trimming models
• Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records

Experience:

• Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment
• Familiarity with SoftDent or other electronic health record systems a plus
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
