Dental Assistant

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, assisting in general dentistry. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments in general dentistry. Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and organized according to aseptic technique. Take and record vital signs of patients as necessary. Manage patient records using Eaglesoft software, including Dental coding for insurance purposes. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Assist with endodontic procedures as needed. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the dental office. Qualifications Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with a strong understanding of general dentistry practice. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Ability to take vital signs accurately. Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental management software is advantageous.
