Job Overview We are seeking an experienced, organized, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our dentists and staff to deliver high-quality patient care, manage infection control, and assist with smooth daily clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities Chair-side Assistance:
Assist the dentist during examinations, cleanings, surgeries, and prosthodontics procedures.
Patient Care & Education:
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care, and ensure a comfortable experience.
Sterilization & Infection Control:
Manage sterilization of instruments, maintain aseptic techniques, and ensure full compliance with infection control standards.
Radiographs & Diagnostics:
Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and safely.
Treatment Room Prep:
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms with required materials and instruments before and after visits.
Administrative & Software Support:
Utilize dental software ( CareStack ) for patient scheduling, update dental records, monitor vital signs, and handle patient inquiries in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications & Skills Experience as a Dental Assistant Proficiency in taking X-rays and working with dental practice management software (CareStack experience is a plus). Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
