Job Description
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join the team at our start-up Orofacial Pain and Orofacial Medicine Speciality Practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work side-by-side with the doctor to build a new specialty practice from the ground up. This means the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be trained on the job for chairside assisting and be cross-trained in dental/medical front office procedures as well as back office. Required qualifications : graduate/certified by a dental assisting program has a Washington State RDA license has at least 6 months of experience working in a private practice willingness to learn and to participate in all work required to successful start up a dental specialty practice, such as but not limited to: cross-training and willingness to perform all front office duties, practice marketing activities such as traveling to dental practices across the region to network and spread the word and drop off referral information about the new practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in the following clinical skills: sterilization Panoramic Ex-rays Flipping and Setting up operatories Scanning New Patient Intake and Medical History documentation Proven experience as a Dental Assistant within a dental clinic setting, preferably with exposure to orofacial pain treatments such as Botox, Sleep devices for sleep apnea and Oral Night Guards. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations concerning patient privacy and data security. A proactive attitude with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
