We are a high tech growing practice looking for an Orthodontic assistant ( will train) to join our family and team! Are you a quick learner, team player, able to multi-task and want to work with both Children and Adults? Then, this is the job for you!
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure instruments and equipment used are decontaminated, cleaned, sterilized and suitable for use. Perform equipment assembly, inspection, monitoring, and routine maintenance as necessary. Prepare chemicals and solutions used in cleaning of the processing facility. Operate sterilization equipment in accordance with written procedures. Handle and dispose of waste according to regulatory requirements. Complete required documentation of all work activity in accordance with guidelines. Provide support to other assistants and front counter team members, as necessary. Adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies. Set up and tear down procedure rooms Fabricate retainers Make appointments ,answer phones, post payments Take Xrays and intra and extraoral pictures as well as Scans of patients dentition Bond braces Remove wires, take impressions, take scans Other procedures as assigned by the Dr. and staff.
Job Requirements:
Must be a quick learner Must be able to reason independently and work with minimal guidance. Must possess excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Must be able to adapt to quickly changing priorities and schedules. Basic computer skills are required. Ability to lift 60 lbs, performing repetitive motions, and stand for long periods of time. Must have reliable transportation. Must be reliable, dependable, and punctual Must have good interpersonal skills and be a team player Minimum requirement of 32 hrs per week. Wage will increase as learning goals are met Must have a reliable verifiable work history with steady employment for the past 2 years. Minimum commitment of 2 years

A TEAM WE ALL TRAVEL TO OUR 2 LOCATIONS BREMERTON, AND PORT ORCHARD WA, THUS RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION IS A MUST. DURING YOUR 90 DAYS PROBATION NO DAYS OFF CAN BE REQUESTED.
