As a Dental Assistant at Gentle Dental, you'll work closely with our dentists and clinical team to provide high-quality, compassionate care. You'll play an important role in creating an efficient clinical environment while helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit. Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care Support an efficient patient flow and positive clinical experience Provide compassionate, attentive support to patients before, during, and after treatment Follow infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records Take dental X-rays when appropriately certified Educate patients on oral health and post-treatment instructions Work collaboratively with doctors, hygienists, front office teammates, and other dental assistants Provide support at surrounding Gentle Dental offices in the region on an as-needed basis Certificate from a Dental Assisting Program Current healthcare provider CPR/BLS certification Strong commitment to patient care and service Excellent communication and teamwork skills Dependable, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced dental environment Expanded Functions experience or certification is a plus. We recognize the value of additional skills and experience.
