Sound Orthodontics is hiring an Orthodontics Assistant to join our team!
Key Details:
Pay:
$23-$31/hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
4 days/week, 7a - 4:30p,
Weekly Hours:
32-40 hours/week, depending on clinic needs
Location:
You'll primarily work across our three core clinics in Southcenter, Seattle (West Seattle), and Renton Highlands; with occasional travel to other satellite locations for staffing support

Who You Are:
You're an enthusiastic and compassionate Orthodontic Assistant who thrives in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. You love working chairside with doctors to educate and engage patients, helping promote lifelong dental and overall health. You're energized by meaningful patient interaction and take pride in creating positive experiences for individuals, children, and families.
Other qualifications include:
Current State of Washington Dental Assistant Registration 1+ years' experience in Orthodontic Assisting (Preferred) Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal communication skills to work effectively with patients, parents, doctors, and clinic staff Healthcare BLS and WISHA trainings (Preferred) Ability to pass a pre-employment professional references check
What You'll Do:
As an Orthodontic Assistant, you'll be a key part of our clinical team, working chairside with doctors to deliver outstanding care and build lasting relationships with patients. A typical day will consist of: Preparing patients for appointments by welcoming, soothing and seating Assisting chairside during orthodontic procedures Placing and removing orthodontic brackets and bands Taking digital x-rays and clinical photographs Performing intraoral scanning (Invisalign) and bonding of attachments Sterilizing instruments and maintaining operatory cleanliness Communicating with patients and families about treatment and oral hygiene Collaborating with doctors and team members to provide exceptional care Join a team where passion meets purpose and where your work truly makes a difference.
