We are looking for an assistant that is coachable, a good team player, and can communicate well with our team and our amazing patients; We consider our extended family. Job Details:
Perform all orthodontic related procedures with confidence and precision.
Duties include:
  • Bonding/debonding:
    braces/Invisalign attachments/Carrier (motion) appliance
  • Bonding/Debonding:
    braces/Invisalign attachments/Carrier (motion) appliance
  • Fitting and Removing space maintainers and RPE
  • Fitting bands
  • Scanning with Itero
  • Taking intraoral photos
  • Bonding L3-3 permanent retainer
  • Reviewing home care for braces/Invisalign/appliances
  • Taking pano and cone beam x rays
  • Accurate charting in Dolphin and Eaglesoft
  • Anticipating Dr. needs
  • Confident talking with patient and parents regarding ortho treatment
  • Understanding of all ortho movements and appliances and why they are used
Job Type:
Full-time Competitive pay depending on Skill Level and experience
Requirements:
Active/current Wa State Dental Assisting License Current CPR/BLS certification or the ability to get it within 30 days of hire A love for working with and understanding children with all levels of needs Works well as a team player Understands the flow of how an ortho clinic runs Stays on task with minimal direction Minimum 1 year of orthodontic experience as a dental assistant Experience using Dolphin is a plus! Experience using Eaglesoft is a plus!
