Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM-2:00 PM Clinic Manager Opportunity | No Nights | No Weekends | Benefits Eligible Medcor is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as the Clinic Manager at our employer-based occupational health clinic in Kirkland, Washington . This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN looking to transition out of traditional bedside, hospital, long-term care, or skilled nursing while continuing to use their clinical skills in a hands-on healthcare environment. As the Clinic Manager, you'll provide direct patient care while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the onsite clinic. You'll treat workplace injuries and illnesses, support workers' compensation and return-to-work programs, and partner closely with Medcor leadership, client contacts, and outside medical providers. You'll work collaboratively with Medcor's medical and operational leadership as well as client professionals in health, safety, environmental, HR, and benefits to deliver high-quality occupational healthcare.
Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing daily clinic operations, workflows, logistics, and scheduling Assessing and treating workplace injuries and illnesses within your scope of practice and using Medcor's evidence-based clinical protocols Providing first aid and supporting emergency response when needed Supporting workers' compensation case management Facilitating Return-to-Work (RTW) programs Monitoring treatment plans and coordinating with outside medical providers Conducting pre-employment and post-offer screenings Performing Physical Assessment Testing (PATs) Supporting onsite employee health and wellness initiatives Collaborating with client health, safety, environmental, HR, and benefits professionals Documenting patient care using Medcor's electronic medical record (EMR) Maintaining accurate and timely medical charts Supporting OSHA recordkeeping Providing exceptional service to employees and client leadership Building strong relationships with employees, client contacts, providers, and the Medcor team Handling general clinic administrative responsibilities
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:
Current Washington LPN license Current CPR/BLS certification Ability to operationally lead and support an onsite clinic Strong nursing assessment and patient-care skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer and technology skills, including comfort working with electronic medical records Ability to lift and carry a 50-pound emergency response bag Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with clinical, operational, and client teams Professional, dependable, and patient-focused approach to care It's a Plus If You Have Previous occupational health or worksite clinic experience Urgent care or emergency medicine experience Workers' compensation or case management experience Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic operations experience Experience working independently in a clinical environment Occupational health experience is a plus, but it is not required.
