Dental assistants should be well-organized, work well with a team, and give great attention to detail. Pay is DOE, special consideration given regarding working weekends. Responsibilities Seat patients, take x-rays, assist Dr. Harken in dental procedures Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Proficient in charting procedures. Sterilize instruments according to regulations Provide post-operative care instructions to patients Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Assist the admin team in check-in and check-out process when needed Assist the hygiene team in seating, x-rays, perio charting, and delivering fluoride when needed to help the team/schedule stay on time. Skills Proven experience as dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of WISHA regulations and guidelines Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred Washington Dental Assistant registration, Basic Life Support certificate required

Schedule/Office Hours:

Our office is open to patients Friday-Tuesday, 7am-6pm and occasional Wednesday's throughout the year. We are looking for someone to work Saturday and Sunday, with optional Friday's if you want a 3rd day .
