Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the orthodontist in providing excellent patient care and maintaining efficient workflow in a busy orthodontic practice. Working Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays, 7:30AM-5PM.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the orthodontist during patient procedures, including but not limited to adjustments, wire changes, and appliance placements
  • Take and develop dental X-rays
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA and CDC guidelines
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices for braces and other orthodontic appliances
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar software
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
Experience:
  • Experience in an orthodontic or dental office setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Proficiency in assisting with orthodontic procedures and using aseptic techniques
  • Familiarity with dental receptionist duties is a plus
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is advantageous
  • Familiarity with CAD software for orthodontic purposes is beneficial

$20.00
