Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant / Front Desk professional, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a welcoming environment for our patients. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact, managing patient check-ins, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. Your expertise in dental procedures, patient management, and administrative tasks will contribute to delivering exceptional dental care. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk with professionalism and enthusiasm Schedule appointments efficiently using patient management software such as Denticon. Verify patient insurance information and ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Assist dentists during procedures with chairside assisting, including handling dental instruments and preparing treatment rooms Take dental X-rays while adhering to infection prevention management and aseptic techniques Process dental instruments through sterilization procedures following infection control standards Support clinical staff with dental equipment setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of devices such dental x-ray unit. Ensure a clean, organized clinical environment in compliance with healthcare infection prevention protocols Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic prefer but not recommended. Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques Hands-on knowledge of dental sterilization procedures, infection control practices, and aseptic technique Proficiency in using patient management software such as Denticont for scheduling and record keeping Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages while demonstrating excellent customer service skills This role is designed for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a vibrant healthcare environment.
