Job Description
Dental 360 & Associates is seeking an EXPERIENCED, energetic, friendly, skilled, hard-working, dedicated and organized Dental Assistant to join our team. Some of the job responsibilities include the following: Prepare rooms by sterilizing instruments and moving equipment into place Assist in updating and maintaining client dental records Perform routine dental cleanings and assist in the performance of more complicated surgical procedures Provide support to dentists and staff as needed Offer patients advice and materials necessary to maintain good dental health Prevent the spread of infection and disease by maintaining a clean work environment Assembles instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area, positioning instruments for dentist's access, suctioning, and passing instruments Provides materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patient's mouth Provides diagnostic information by taking digital xrays and pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts Any other tasks or duties as assigned The ideal candidate should have the following: Minimum 1 year of Dental Assisting experience Dentrix experience Strong communication and organizational skills
