Location:
Federal Correctional Institute 1640 Skyview Drive, Bruceton Mills, WV 26525. This is in a federal correctional environment.
Note:
Security and Dentist will be present to assure safety!
Training:
Facility will train on their standards and systems!
Hours:
Monday through Friday (except Federal holidays), 40 hours per week between the hours of 6:00am-6:00 pm.
Annual salary:
$50,000.
Sign-on bonus/relocation:
$5,000.00 sign-on bonus/relocation with a two-year commitment.

Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Shall possess specialty training from a licensed dentist and/or certification from an accredited Dental Assistant program. Training must include dental radiology and radiology safety. Be certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in accordance with the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
Education and experience:
Individuals providing dental assistant services under the contract award must meet one of the following requirements:
Experience:
Six months experience that demonstrates the applicant's ability to perform the work, provides familiarity with the work, described within this document; or
Education:
Successful completion of a 1-year dental assistant program accredited by the American Dental Association's Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA); or Experience/education combination: Equivalent combinations of experience and education are qualifying.
Responsibilities:
Assists Dentist in dental specialty sections: restorative, oral surgery, periodontics, prosthetics, and examinations. Dental prophylaxis. Preparation of patients for periodontal surgery. Performs routine oral prophylaxis of the clinical crowns of teeth. Performs procedures pursuant to fabrication and repair of complete denture prosthesis and removable partial prosthesis. Maintains proper infection control procedures in radiographic techniques. Places and finishes dental restorations, including bases and liners. Make primary impressions and pours casts.
