Dental Hygienist -

Full-Time or Part-Time Location:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality preventive care in a supportive private practice setting. Responsibilities Provide relaxing and thorough dental cleanings, prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing Take dental radiographs (X-rays) Apply fluoride treatments and other preventive materials Assess patients' oral health, chart findings, and report to the dentist Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention Review and update medical/dental histories Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile treatment area Administer local anesthesia (if certified and permitted under Alaska regulations) Collaborate with the dental team to deliver excellent patient care Requirements Current Alaska Dental Hygienist license (or ability to obtain one promptly) Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program Current CPR certification Strong clinical skills and excellent chairside manner Ability to work independently under general supervision while being a true team player

Preferred:

Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records; local anesthesia certification New graduates are encouraged to apply—we value attitude, communication skills, and willingness to learn as much as years of experience.
