Come join our team! Located in Northwest Arkansas, Lifetime Dental is a growing, privately owned, patient-focused practice looking for a full or part-time Dental Hygienist. At Lifetime Dental, we serve patients of all ages and believe in creating healthy, beautiful smiles that last a lifetime. Responsibilities Welcome patients with a smile and ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Take x-rays or iTero scans as needed Update perio chart Prophylaxis, SRPs and perio maintenance cleanings as required Apply fluoride and sealants, as needed Educate patients on proper oral care Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer) Sterilize dental instruments properly Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Monitor supplies Skills Valid Dental Hygienist license to practice in Arkansas In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations Outstanding communication skills Attention to detail A kind and friendly personality
Pay:
$40.00 - $45.00 per hour
