Job Summary Monday 8a-5p, Thursday 8a-5p New Graduates Welcome! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to best practices in oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional care in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations. Administer dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures effectively and efficiently. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes using appropriate dental terminology. Collaborate with dentist to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with general dentistry practices and procedures is essential. Knowledge of medical terminology and dental assisting practices will be beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients are essential for success in this role.
