Candidates can make up to $100 hour during our uniqur primetime hours. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current health status to tailor treatment plans. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies to promote long-term oral health. Assist the dentist during procedures with chairside support, ensuring smooth workflow through four-handed dentistry techniques. Take and develop dental radiographs (medical imaging) while adhering to aseptic technique and infection control protocols. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, including treatment notes and medical records review. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining confidentiality of patient information at all times. Experience Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist within a general or pediatric dentistry setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical coding standards. Familiarity with EMR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation review and recordkeeping. Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, demonstrating comfort working with children and understanding pediatric-specific procedures. Ability to perform vital signs assessment and medical imaging accurately while maintaining patient comfort. Previous experience in dental office or clinic environments that emphasizes infection control, aseptic technique, and documentation accuracy.
