Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant dental team! In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care by performing periodontal maintenance care , initial therapy, assessments, education, and ensuring every patient receives personalized, high-quality dental services with

Your expertise in dental hygiene procedures and patient communication will help foster a welcoming environment that promotes oral health and confidence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on patients' lives while working in a dynamic, team-oriented specialty office setting. Duties Perform thorough supportive maintenance care and treat active disease with scaling and root planing Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories to ensure safe treatment plans Assist the Doctor in treating Emergency Patients Take and develop dental x-rays and other medical imaging to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems (Open Dental) for documentation review and accurate record keeping Maintain infection prevention protocols by adhering to aseptic techniques, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality Experience Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting, with familiarity with periodontal specialty care Training with Laser therapy a plus Hands-on experience with dental x-ray procedures, medical imaging, and electronic health records management (EHR/EHR systems) Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention and control standards, including HIPAA compliance management Ability to perform patient care tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism Join us in delivering outstanding dental care! Pay:
$72.00 - $75.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 per week
