Job Description
The position for RDH is for a temporary position that are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays beginning July 21, 2025 to September 16, 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque, and applying fluoride treatments
- Take and develop dental x-rays using medical imaging equipment
- Take and record vital signs of patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Eaglesoft
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions
- Assist with patient assessment and treatment planning
- Provide dental hygiene services to patients of all ages, including pediatric patients
- Demonstrate knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
Qualifications:
- Valid dental hygienist license in the state of California
- Proficient in using Eaglesoft software for patient record management
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols in a dental office setting
- Familiarity with medical imaging equipment for taking and developing dental x-rays
- Ability to accurately assess patient needs and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
