Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and make a meaningful difference in patients' oral health and overall well-being! In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional dental care, educate patients on maintaining healthy smiles, and support the smooth operation of our modern dental practice. Your expertise in dental hygiene procedures, patient assessment, and infection control will help foster a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow professionally while providing top-tier dental services. Duties Prophy's adults and children Laser assisted periodontal therapy (SRP + Laser Therapy) Laser Bacterial reduction Utilization of Biolase Laser Cold Sore Treatment GBT (guided biofilm therapy) utilizing airflow and piezon technology. FMX/Recall Radiographs Itero Lumina Pro for wellness scans Saliva Testing Arestin Fluoride Co-diagnosing Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong oral health. Follow strict infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of dental equipment, to ensure a safe environment for all.

Requirements Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to perform dental x-rays. Proficiency in EHR/EHR management systems such as Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dental care. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, patient education, and team collaboration. Commitment to HIPAA compliance, maintaining patient confidentiality, and adhering to infection control standards.
