Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting optimal oral health. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will utilize your expertise to perform comprehensive dental cleanings, patient assessments, and education while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for every patient. Your skills in dental terminology, infection control, and advanced dental procedures will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque, tartar, and stains. Perform initial patient assessments by taking medical histories and reviewing medical records to ensure safe treatment plans. Capture high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) using digital imaging equipment while adhering to radiation safety protocols. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster long-term dental health. Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for accurate documentation of treatments, medical histories, and billing information. Maintain strict infection prevention protocols by practicing aseptic techniques, sterilizing dental equipment, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Experience Proven experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced dental office or clinic setting. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental care. Hands-on experience with digital radiography (dental X-ray) systems and EMR/EHR management platforms such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is highly desirable, along with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. Demonstrated expertise in infection prevention management, aseptic technique, and healthcare infection control standards. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient education and building trustful relationships. Ability to review clinical documentation accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance at all times.
