Capture high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) using digital imaging equipment while adhering to radiation safety protocols. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster long-term dental health. Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for accurate documentation of treatments, medical histories, and billing information. Maintain strict infection prevention protocols by practicing aseptic techniques, sterilizing dental equipment, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Experience Proven experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced dental office or clinic setting. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental care. Hands-on experience with digital radiography (dental X-ray) systems and EMR/EHR management platforms such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is highly desirable, along with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. Demonstrated expertise in infection prevention management, aseptic technique, and healthcare infection control standards. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient education and building trustful relationships. Ability to review clinical documentation accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance at all times.
