•We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for promoting oral health and delivering exceptional patient care through comprehensive dental hygiene services. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct initial patient assessments, including vital signs measurement and medical history review, to ensure safe treatment planning. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) utilizing dental imaging equipment while adhering to radiation safety standards. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health. Follow infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures, to uphold the highest standards of infection control. Monitor patient comfort throughout treatments, provide chairside assistance, and manage patient concerns with professionalism and empathy. Requirements Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations. Experience with dental equipment operation, including X-ray machines and other clinical tools. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members. Demonstrated understanding of healthcare infection prevention, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA compliance management. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
