Part-Time Dental Hygienist — $55-60/hr — 1 day/week now, growing to 2+ Whittier Palm Dental is a solo doctor-owned practice on Whittier Blvd in Montebello — PPO and fee-for-service only, no HMO or Medi-Cal. Most hygiene patients get a full treatment hour. We're adding a permanent part-time hygienist: one day per week to start (Tuesday or Wednesday, about a 7.5-hour column), with a second day planned in the coming months and room to grow beyond that. This is a long-term seat with an established recall base — not temp fill-in work.

What the job actually is:

you run your own column. Full perio charting on recalls, SRP and perio maintenance, and reappointing patients before they walk out. The doctor places implants and does same-day crowns, so a hygienist who spots needed treatment and gets it onto his schedule is valued and recognized here. We can teach Dentrix if you've used another practice-management system, along with our perio and implant-maintenance protocols.

Pay and benefits:

$55-60/hour depending on experience. PTO, sick time, paid holidays, dental care discounts for yourself.

Requirements:

Active California RDH license. We start with paid working days so you can see the office and we can see your clinical work before either of us commits.
